Chinese Restaurant Kowloon

A long-established Chinese restaurant loved by locals in Matsumoto.
Alongside classic Chinese dishes, the restaurant offers original arrangements and adapts flexibly to both everyday dining and special event menus.

Menu: Curry Tantan Rice
By reworking the richness of sesame and spiciness typical of tantanmen with curry flavors, this dish creates a unique crossover.
Served with rice instead of noodles, it sits somewhere between soup and curry rice, showcasing the layered seasoning techniques of Chinese cuisine.

Usuyaki Café Mamemame

A café specializing in “usuyaki,” a local Matsumoto specialty.
Emphasizing simple flavors and ingredients, it is an easy stop for light meals or snacks, familiar to both locals and visitors.
Menu: Curry Usuyaki
Using usuyaki as a base, this dish layers curry flavors lightly.
The fragrant thin batter and gentle taste of the ingredients challenge the idea that curry must be heavy.

Ikaruga no Sato

Known for okonomiyaki and other teppan dishes, this shop frequently offers limited menus during events, blending traditional flour-based cuisine with flexible ideas.
Menu: Curry Okonomiyaki
A straightforward combination of okonomiyaki and curry flavors.
The aroma from grilling, where sauce and spices merge, takes center stage, with curry integrated into the batter rather than simply added on top.

Yasai no Oyatsu Fugetsu

Operating from a shared kitchen, Fugetsu focuses on vegetable-based snacks and runs on limited days and locations, offering a flexible and unique style.
Menu: Curry Donuts (2 pieces)
By combining “snack” and “curry,” these donuts deliver an unexpected experience.
Expecting sweetness, one instead encounters gentle spice aromas—an in-between curry enjoyed outside of typical meals.

Jikka Café

A café designed to feel like returning home, offering a calm and welcoming atmosphere.
Comfortable even for solo visitors, it suits those who want to enjoy a relaxed meal.

Menu: Solo Cute Hot Pot Set (Curry Flavor)
A rare way to enjoy curry as a hot pot.
Served in a single-person pot, it allows diners to take their time, blending curry flavors with a cozy, everyday atmosphere
